First I would like to say I hope all is well with you and your family. If you haven’t been checking your Option C email please do so there may be important information from Mrs. Soria and or the Diocese.

In accordance with state and federal guidelines regarding social distancing, all Catholic Academies will remain closed, and distance leaning will continue through April 30, 2020.

Catholic Academies within the Diocese of Brooklyn will be observing Easter break, commencing Holy Thursday, April 9, 2020 through Friday, April 17, 2020.

For Easter break Catholic Academies will be sharing creative virtual resources. https://news.catholicschoolsbq.org

Google Classroom and attendance

Good morning, hope everyone is doing well. Students must start signing up for Google Classrooms. They have their info to do it. We will start using Google Classrooms, also attendance is being take in Option C, make sure they turn in their attendance in the morning. They check in between 7:30-8:30. Thank You

Update: For Fourth and Fifth Grade

Our school like all the schools across the country is turning to remote learning as a means to continue and provide consistent learning opportunities. Modern technology provides us with the tools. However, it is up to you to demonstrate your willingness to learn and grow by effectively using these tools. In all you classes you will be expected to be respectful, be prepared, follow directions and complete all assignments. If you have a problem with online access or cannot open certain files, please let me know immediately. 

I will be taking attendance daily. Therefore, it is important for you to go to your classdojo message area to sign in. You will have a class schedule, which will provide structure to your school day. When necessary take notes, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Have a pen, pencil and paper/notebook available while online. I will be communicating with you and your parents. You will be kept informed of changes, new resources and classroom expectations. I am confident that my fourth grade homeroom as well as my fifth grade class will strive for academic success.

Remember : Be receptive, be resourceful and be enthusiastic

Good morning Parents,  

The assignments will be posted on Teams. Make sure the students check every day their teams to follow up. They have their first assignment that I gave them last week. They know to email me the assignment when done.
